I know I have mentioned this before but I just have to write this down because it so sweet.
Every night when I put Brooklyn to bed she wants to sing songs. So we go through the usual songs...Her current favorites are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, The Wheels on the Bus (or some variation of the song I can sing for you sometime if you want...the variations are lovely (-; , and I Love to See the Temple and I am a Child of God. When we get to I Love to See the Temple and I am a Child of God Brooklyn stands up in her bed and wants to hug me and give me kisses through the entire song. It is so sweet. It is one of those moments that just makes all the silly things not matter so much and all the really important things shine.
(I chose the above picture because that's about how the notes in my singing are-random and all over, but Brooklyn doesn't seem to mind and still sings with me and gives me hugs. She is such a little sweetheart! I just love her. )
