Old and new...

Brooklyn has been really funny lately about giving away something old if she gets something new/better...so I told her we would take a picture of her with the old one so she could always remember it.
The old desk (she is saying "desk" when I take her picture instead of "cheese.")

The new desk (still saying "desk")

 The old and new cradle...

I thought she looked really cute for church today so I wanted to take her picture. I told her she needed to sit like a little lady (instead of kicking her legs in the air) so this is what she did.

 Brooklyn and mommy...

Brooklyn dressed as Hannah Montana (her own ideas.) The ensemble includes her Hannah t-shirt, 4 headbands, boots (not pictured), a HSM necklace, Hannah stickers, red elmo clips on her pig tails, her Hannah back pack, and sunglasses. Curtis had just told her if she was Hannah she must be famous and he wanted her autograph, so she gave him that (after he explained what an autograph was) and then he tried to explain what famous meant. After that she kept adding more things to her outfit and saying "this will make me look really famous." She also sang Hannah Songs and some church songs for us.

Scary (Cherry) Hill etc.

We went to Scary (Cherry) Hill last week with Steph and Em. Brooklyn loved it except for the "scary bat that made noises on the mini golf course.)

Mini golfing

Em at the batting cages

Brooklyn playing in the Hamster Haven

Steph at the batting cages

Brooklyn conquering the hay maze

Brooklyn trying all the rides

On the tractor ride

Last week Brooklyn also made this little foam shark. She was so proud of it she wanted me to take a picture of her with it while it swam in the water (in the bowl)

"Helping" Grandpa mow the lawn

Being silly today

Showing off her blanket my sweet VT made her. (And the thing in her other hand is the Barbie Bag she gave it to her in-which Brooklyn also loved and thought it was a wonderful part of the gift.)

Black Island Farms

Friday Deborah invited us to go to Black Island Farms with her preschool. We have gone in years past and Brooklyn always loves it, and this year was no exception! She loved being able to sit by Bryant and go on some of the fun slides with him! (I have no idea why this picture is showing up sideways, I took it like all the other pictures...)
Posing in the pumpkin patch (she is supposed to be raising her hand to tell the worker she found her pumpkin but it looks more like a pose to me. :)

Bryant and Brooklyn riding on the tractor ride with the pumpkins they picked.  (And sitting by the carrots they learned about and got to eat!)

Checking to see if her pumpkin was heavy or not.

Going down the big slide.

Finding her way through the hay maze (this is my kind of maze:)

Riding the horse tire swing.

Every time Brooklyn would go down this slide this little boy would come and say "I'll race you."  She had fun doing that a few times.

Riding the fun (and really bumpy Brooklyn told me) train.
Brooklyn also jumped in the pumpkin bounce house, played in the corn, went through the tunnel, and played on the see-saw. It was so fun! Thanks so much for inviting us Deb and Bryant!
Just a side note-today is 10-10-10! Isn't that a cool date?

Chuck E. Cheese

We went to Chuck E. Cheese and had tons of fun! Brooklyn's friend Kayla and her mom came too. Everything is always more fun with a friend!

Brooklyn was so excited that she got to have her picture taken with Chuck E. Cheese again!

Pumpkins, painting, my crafty creations and General Conference!

Brooklyn and her friend Mckayla picking out pumpkins

Showing off the pumpkin she painted and put little Light Bright like things in so it glows!! (We carved it too!)

Painting her little pumpkins (and making a silly face for the picture)

The extent of my creative/crafty abilities...(oh yes I painted all of these)

Also, we really enjoyed watching General Conference yesterday and today! We also went to grandma and grandpa Davis' house for a yummy lunch today. Today Brooklyn kept asking us who all the speakers were (easy to answer if it was someone in the first presidency or 12 apostles, not so easy if it was a 70 or something like that...) anyway, she asked who was saying one of the prayers and I said I didn't know and she said "Is that Laman?" And I just laughed...we have been trying to read the Book of Mormon with her but I am not sure why she picked that name out for the guy saying the prayer. Seriously, she is so fun (and funny) we just love her tons!!!
