Brooklyn loves to "read" her books, and will sit and look at them forever. She especially likes pulling every book off of her bookshelf and looking at each one (she will stay in her room for an hour or so reading her books.)

And these pictures also illustrate her love of powdered donuts...although it is mostly just the powdered sugar (which is what is around he little mouth) she loves.

Brooklyn eating a chocolate popsicle for breakfast...I know-where are my parenting skills...but you will be happy to know that I made her eat some cereal first, and I thought she might have a sore throat, so that is the only reason I let her have it. I promise we usually don't have dessert after breakfast.

So I wanted to start the blog with Brooklyn's B-day (December 15) and Christmas, but then I realized I don't think we took any pictures, just video, of those events. So maybe if I can figure out how get pictures from the video (apparently our camera can do that, I think that is cool, maybe everyone's can) then I will post blogs for those days, or maybe just post video...video just doesn't work well if you ever want to print out your blogs to save like a scrapbook/journal, that is why I am reluctant to post video. Anyway, Brooklyn's second birthday was great, and so was Christmas! We know we are very blessed, both with family and friends and with material and spiritual blessings. That's what makes life and all it's special events so wonderful!
