Hooray BYU!

Every Saturday this year (the football season portion)  Brooklyn has asked to wear her BYU shirt (just like Daddy's) and goes around the house shouting "Go BYU Cougars!" Yesterday was no exception. Daddy hadn't put his BYU shirt on yet in this picture (he was too busy working on that box thing for work...I know I think it looks like some sort of animal cage too, but he says it is something to test wireless devices or something.) I thought they both looked cute! And I thought I should post this in honor of BYU's win! Go BYU Cougars!

Thanksgiving 2009

Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for, I am so glad we have this holiday to remind us about all our blessings! This year we spent Thanksgiving at my parents house. We had lots of great food! I of course didn't of think about taking pictures until it was too late. I think we should recreate the event, complete with all the yummy food, so I can take some pictures. (-;  When we got home Brooklyn really wanted to put up the Christmas tree but we just didn't have time so I told her we had to do it Friday.
I went to my parents late Thursday night and slept over so we could go Black Firday shopping early Friday morning. We got up at 3:30 and went to Walmart. The people at the Walmart we went to were acutally pretty nice, so it wasn't too bad. And I think we all got most of what we went for. We went to Kohl's afterward and that wasn't too bad, although we went back later and were glad we came in the morning, later in the day the lines wrapped around the whole store!
Later we put up all the Christmas decorations. Brooklyn is so excited for Christmas this year! She was excited last year but this year since she is a little older and understands it a little more I think that makes it even more fun for her (and for me!) It also helps that her birthday is coming up too, so she has two things to be excited for!

New Moon

I went to see New Moon tonight before it officially came out! That was exciting-and fun!

It was great-and even though I have read all the books I still hate waiting a whole year between movies!

Disney On Ice!

Brooklyn loved Disney on Ice Princess Classics! She watched everything and when it was over asked if we could come watch it again tomorrow. Also a funny thing happened-when we went to sit in our seats there were people sitting in them and we found out they had double sold our seats somehow, so the usher moved us to some seats on row 8 (the original tickets were row 15) so everything worked out great!
