Beautiful jewelry, treasures, nails, Tigger, and the last soccer game

Brooklyn modeling her beautiful jewelry

Doing some singing and dancing while modeling her beautiful jewelry (and princess stickers she decided to put up her arms...)

Finding forgotten treasures in the miscellaneous toy box...

Showing off her beautiful fake nails that stayed on for approximately 1 minute after completion.  (That's OK I don't really enjoy wearing them either.)

Posing with Aunt Steph

Picking out things to paint at the wood connection. Brooklyn just loves painting lately!

Painting the ghost she picked out.

Taking a ride with Tigger

Taking a drink break at the last soccer game of the season!

Ogden Nature Center-Bizzy Buzzy Bugs (BBB)

We went to the Ogden Nature Center for their BBB class. Our friends Deb and Bryant came too!

Brooklyn following the turkey's everywhere.

Posing with the turtle (in the wood box thing) and I think she was showing me how a bird flies (I can't remember for sure, which is another good reason I shouldn't wait very long to blog about stuff.)

 Looking at the tarantula.

Brooklyn took some pictures all by herself-of Bryant

and then of herself

Brooklyn showing off the grasshopper she caught

Brooklyn and Bryant showing off the wings they made (Brooklyn said her's were "Tinkerbell wings, " not bug wings)

Visiting the birds

B-day party, flowers, park, chocolate face...

At Bryant's birthday party (oh yes my picture taking skills are wonderful...=/

Posing with her OWN flowers (mommy gets them from daddy sometimes so Brooklyn needed her own too. =)

Playing on her favorite slide at the park. (She is covering her eyes in the first pic because the sun was really bright.)

Showing off her soccer clothes and her chocolate face.

Driving the car and watching a movie at the Toyota place (who knew they had such a fun play area?!)

Cherry Hill

Brooklyn-ready for mini golf!
I found a good deal on passes to Cherry Hill, so we went mini golfing and to the batting cages on Monday and then we went to the water park on Saturday. We had a lot of fun!

St. George Vacation-Tuachan and camping

Brooklyn watching her movie and eating peanuts on our long drive to St. George!

We stopped at Cove Fort on our way.

Watching Tarzan at Tuachan

Pictures with the stars

Relaxing at our hotel

In the morning we swam at the hotel and then we left to go camping. We decided to camp while we were down there because Brooklyn has been asking to go camping for a long time and it is too cold to camp at night up here. (She has been counting down the days to our camping trip.) We decided to camp at a place call Quail Creek (although we can't figure out why it is called a creek because it is a lake and there is a big dam right by it...)
After we set up camp, we tried swimming by our camp site, but we soon found out that the sand was more like quick sand, so we cleaned off our feet and Curtis found us a better place to swim.

Waiting in the tent for Curtis to find us a better place to swim

Swimming at the non-quicksand location...

Taking pictures inside a big rock we saw. (Brooklyn choose the poses.)

Eating dinner cooked on the campfire.

Eating breakfast and cleaning up camp in the morning.

On our way home-trying on Dad's hat

We had to stop at the store for a potty break, and Brooklyn just had to ride the ice cream truck...

It was a wonderful vacation!

And, a totally unrelated side note, but I just want to put it on the blog so I don't forget...
Curtis came home from a church meeting and Brooklyn knocked on the bathroom door and said Dad do you know I am out here? And I said yes he knows and she said "Did he hear my cute voice?" And I said yes I bet he heard your cute voice, I just love your cute voice! And she said "maybe you could borrow it!"  And she pretended to take out her voice and hand it to me. (She always tells me I can borrow her cute little hands or feet or arms etc.) Super cute! =)

Also, she has been watching a little too much High School musical and is under the impression that everyone that just breaks out in song and dance about everything in life (she wanted us to sing and dance about our vacation like on HSM 2.) Her Barbie play time usually acts out scenes from HSM (complete with songs.) I think we will not be watching that show anymore...at least for a few years when it is more age appropriate. :)
