Manti Pageant, Boondocks, Larsen Family Reunion and Straight hair

We went to the Manti Pageant with Curtis's side of the family.
We enjoyed watching the pageant and visiting with family (and Brooklyn LOVED playing with all her cousins!)

The next day we all went to Boondocks to play. It was tons of fun!

Monday we went to a nearby park for a reunion with Grandpa Larsen's family

 Having fun on the tire swings! Well...Emily had fun...Brooklyn kept wanting to stop and go, and Keisha ended up throwing up, but we still had fun.



Brooklyn wanted me to straighten her hair the other day because she wanted to look like her Aunt Stephanie. Here she is modeling her straight hair.

Father's Day

For Father's Day Brooklyn and I made M&M bow ties for Daddy and both Grandpa's

We also made a beautiful sign for Daddy

And had lots of fun with Daddy! Happy Father's Day! We love you and we are grateful for all you do for us!

Brooklyn at swim lessons! She is doing very well, we are very proud of her!

Tuesday we went to Hogle Zoo. Brooklyn went to a preschool class they held. It was called Paws and Claws so she learned about animals with paws and claws. First she got to color in an animal coloring book. Next she played a matching game. Then they read a story and had snacks. Then we went on a "Zoofari" and found all the animals in that were in the story in the Zoo. We even got a special up close and personal show with the tigers just for our class!

At the end of the Zoofari we rode the carousal. Then Brooklyn made a tiger costume with a mask, tail and claws.

After the class ended we picked Curtis up from work, got some lunch, and went to This is the place Heritage Park. We went on a train ride, and played some games, got ice cream treats, rode a horse, petted (is that a word?) some animals, and Brooklyn got help drive the horse drawn wagon!
