Messy silly girl

Brooklyn after she ate her very own little cup of chocolate ice cream-looks like she enjoyed it! And yes, she has her swimsuit on, we just go back from swimming lessons. Brooklyn started them last Monday. It is a "Mom and Tot" class which means I have to get in which isn't very thrilling to me (mostly the putting on a swimsuit in public part) but Brooklyn likes swimming so I am willing to suffer public humiliation for her. (=



Brooklyn and her pretend friend...some kids have an imaginary friend, some kids have a doll or stuffed animal, but I guess Brooklyn wanted to be different so the big blue ball is her friend. She pushes it around the house with her and talks to it. It is pretty funny. I am sure it is named Curtis, just like all her dolls. (-;

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dad's out there! Especially to my wonderful hubby and to my dad and father-in-law (and our Grandpa's who are all in Heaven right now)! We love and are grateful for each of you!
I also have to mention a funny thing Brooklyn said yesterday. Lately we have playing the "Got your nose" game with Brooklyn and when we take her nose she says "I need it back I can't breath!" So yesterday when she was bathing I "took" her belly button and she said "Give it back I can't breath!" It cracked me up!

Hmmmm...

Today we were pulling out of a parking lot and we waited for a motorcycle and a car to car to go by. After we pulled onto the road Brooklyn said "I want one of those." And I said "one of what?" And she said "a Motorcycle, like daddy's." First of all it is just funny that she would say she wants a motorcycle, and second Daddy hasn't even owned a motorcycle since quite a while before we got married. Where do kids come up with these funny things to say? (=
(As a side note, the picture I put on is a lot like the bike Curtis had before we were married, he has real pic's but I don't know where they are, but I thought it was appropriate since Brooklyn wants one like Daddy's (-;

Brooklyn the hairdresser

Lately Brooklyn loves to do hair. This usually means she combs your hair a little and she brings you the elastics and clips and tells you where to put them in (since her little fingers haven't quite mastered those skills yet.) As you can see she is extremely talented...Steph looks beautiful! (=

Brooklyn's half birthday

Monday was officially Brooklyn's half birthday! We had a little party complete with cake and ice cream and a few little presents. It was all just for fun. I know it is kind of a silly thing to do so I only made my parents and sisters come. It was fun though!
