4th of July (Part I and II) Boondocks and other fun

 Sunday before the 4th...

 Riding her bike she decorated for the 4th...

Bryson in his car for the 4th (our ward does a little bike parade for the kids) 

And then...Brooklyn woke up sick (stomach flu) on the 4th! We were all so sad! She had been looking forward to it since Easter. =(

But we still saw some fireworks from our house,

and lit our own...

A few days later Brooklyn decided to dress herself in her "fabulous" things...=)

I made the mistake of letting Brooklyn keep the lipstick out of her play makeup kit...this is the result...

Now 4th of July part II...Since Brooklyn missed the parade on the 4th, we took her to the Farmington Parade on July 9. She even got to watch with our neighbors! She loved it and got lots of candy and fun stuff! 

Her favorite was the princess float

 A couple days later she talked dad into taking the training wheels off her bike. She is practicing so she can bike without them!

Wednesday we went to Boondocks with Em and Steph and Grandma Davis. Brooklyn LOVED it! 

Bry was such a good baby the whole time! 

He even got to ride a couple little rides!

And we ate some pizza. 

The next day Brooklyn had her friend Skye over to swim. 

and Bry swam and swang too...

Then her friend Erin came over. First they watched Pocahontas. 

Then they went outside to swim...(and Bry swang again...is swang even a word?)

and didn't like the sun but wouldn't leave his cute sunglasses on.

Erin sister even came to swim too! 

Friday Curtis and I  went to the Snowberry Bed and Breakfast to celebrate out 6th wedding anniversary.

Our room had an Eskimo theme...I thought the Eskimo masks were a little weird...

 but we had lots of fun!


Today I made some cookies...they had chocolate on the outside and Brooklyn made and extra big mess with them.
