April Fools Day

For April Fools Day I got some ideas from Family Fun Magazine. I put a piece of TP in the toilet that said "Hark! Who goes there?" Curtis loved it (haha.)  I put a raisin in the toothpaste tube (to look like a bug) last year. By the time I went to bed the night before April Fools this year it was too late (and I was too tired) to do the other stuff I was planning so I just did the raisin again.
For dinner I made meat loafs with colored mashed potatoes on top in cupcake tins so that they looked like cupcakes, and I put a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel on top to look like mashed potatoes and gravy on each plate (you can see it on Brooklyn's plate and mine in the background.)

I also bought a fake tongue ring a while ago and I put on right before Curtis walked in and I told him my tongue hurt. And then I did the classic elastic on the sink sprayer so when Curtis turned on the sink he got sprayed. That was probably the funniest joke all day. We had a fun day!

  2. So fun! I was too lazy to do the meatloaf and colored potatoes!! The ring is a good idea! Last year I dipped cotton balls in chocolate and told Paul they were homemade candies. This year I sent him a super official looking IRS audit letter. He totally fell for it! I'll blog about the details soon. :) Cute Easter pics by the way!!!
