Today we went to the Draper Temple Open house. It is a little difficult with a two year old but she was so excited to go see the Temple (and to ride the bus) it was worth it. (= This was the only picture I could get of the Temple. If you have been before you know that there aren't really many good photo op's outside the Temple.
This pic is us waiting in line for the bus back to our car. Brooklyn put on a big cute smile for me.
They also gave us cookies and water at a church after the tour, Brooklyn loved that of course!
Brooklyn loves to put chap stick on, here she is putting it on on the way home from the Temple (she calls it "pretty.") She sometimes goes a little crazy with it...(=
(This doesn't really have anything to do with our Temple trip but it did happen today and I thought it was cute.) I was looking for the remote control for the DVD player and Brooklyn knew I was looking for it, so she came over and said "Oh you need the motor boat?" And handed me a remote. I guess "motor boat" and "remote" do kind of sound alike...especially to a two year old. (=

Fun. We are planning to go on Tuesday the 10th... Do you know if I can take my camera on the bus/into the temple. I know I can't take pictures inside, but will they take the camera away if I even have it there?
ReplyDeleteI'd like to at least try to get some pics on the temple grounds... btw, I'll have my big camera that day. Dave will be out of town, and he'll have the point and shoot with him.
P.S. I plan to hang out with Kairy at some point on the 9th (monday)... what are you doing that day? maybe you can come too. :)
